Pot Watchers

Have you seen these little guys? Do you have these little guys? Do you ever leave a pot on the stove – maybe with some soup or boiling potatoes or boiling chicken – and the cover rattles from the steam? You NEED these little guys!

These are some of my favorite tiny kitchen gadgets. I got them in a pack of two, and when I’m making soup, I clip a monster mouth onto the edge of my pot underneath the lid and rest the lid just on top of it. This allows me to gently boil the soup, keep most of the liquid inside, and vent a little of the steam out so that it doesn’t get out of control if I walk away for a moment. These little monsters are like having an extra hand and allow me to walk away or work on something else and let the soup cook slow for hours. I love them and think they’re definitely worth the $7 – $10 you’ll pay for them. I use them multiple times a week.

In case you would like to get some, I’ve included the Amazon link below. This is not at all sponsored, just something I love and think everyone who cooks could use.
